SOCAA offers membership to all qualified individuals on three levels; Basic Membership, Instructor Certification, and Affiliate Membership. Individuals seeking membership must have completed 40 hours of sanctioned SOCAA training or a Recognized Equivalent Program. Qualified Instructors or experienced individuals in any Martail Art may apply fo membership and certification as an instructor.
Recognized Equivalent Programs include but are not limited to;
Unarmed Defensive Training Course (40 hrs) Instructor: David Baize
Unarmed Close Quaters Combatives Course (40hrs) Instructor: Bill Beaver
Jiu-Jitsu Basic Defensive Techniques Course (40hrs) Instructor Bill Ryan
Gracie Resisting Attack Procedures for Law Enforcement (40hrs)
Gracie Specialized Military Unit Training Course (40hrs)
Naval Special Warfare Combatives Tactics Training (40hrs)
S.C.A.R.S. Institute of Combat Sciences Courses (40hrs)
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy or Gracie Associate resident training (40hrs)
Kama Bushi Kai Karate' resident training (40hrs)
L.I.N.E. System Basic Close Combat Course (40hrs)
U.S. Army Combatives Training Courses 11TH INF (40 Hrs)

MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING INFORMATION:
To complete membership registration; copies of all belt rankings, training certificates, verification of military service / law enforcement creditials must be submitted prior to receiving official membership certificates.
