Frequently, we do not listen to our instincts and fail to identify potential threats until it is too late. The SAFE program incorparates elements of personal protection that will help a woman evade danger before it develops into physical assault.
Escape
The techniques are designed to help any woman escape from her attacker, whether she is standing or on the ground. The techniques of SAFE do not rely solely on strikes and kicks like most other women's self-defense courses. Strikes and kicks alone offer very little chance for success against an attacker who probably bigger, stronger and capable of hitting back. Furthermore, they are useless on the ground where the attacker will usually carry out his assault. The escape moves of SAFE are based on body mechanics, leverage, and skills that do not require strength, speed or coordination. Allowing the techniques to be used effectively by women of any age, size, strength or level of physical fitness.

Program Goals
The victim's feeling of total helplessness is worst part of an attack experience. SAFE empowers a woman not only physically with simple, effective techniques for an escape, but also psychologically and emotionally by enabling her to maintain the presence of mind necessary to recognize or create an opportunity to get away.

Program Format
Techniques are instructed and practiced in a relaxed atmosphere until each student is able to execute the techniques. At the end of class, students are given the opportunity to apply thier skills against a specially trained and padded mock assailant while being coached by the instructor. The students learn how to overcome the adrenaline reaction, practice strategy and excute the skills in a simulated reality situation.

The complete SAFE program consists of 36 techniques that have been used more often and with greater success than all the other techniques combined. By focusing entirely on these 36 techniques the SAFE program is capable of taking any new student from “start” to “street ready” in the least amount of time possible. Once the 36 techniques have been perfected individually, the student will learn how to execute all the techniques in combination. While learning the techniques individually and in every possible combination, the student will gradually be exposed the effects of adrenalin and the simulated intensity of a real assualt. The potency of the 36 techniques and the unparalleled structure of the SAFE program course makes it the best program for any new student.
Although there are no guarantees that this or any self-defense system will ensure that a woman, if assaulted, will be able to succeed against her attacker, SAFE is based on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques which have been proven effective for over 70 years against other styles of martial arts.
